HOW SIMPLE TIPS ON CAR MACHINE

The machine is the heart of the car to watch for its health. Thorough maintenance periodically should be done to ensure that the engine condition remains excellent. But doing care in detail and thoroughly takes time, and also cost. So maybe not all of us can do it every time.

For that reason, then there are some tips for car engine maintenance simply. This treatment is only for parts that can be considered important and should not be ignored. These tips can be applied to a new car engine, or a car engine that has been long enough.

Oil Change Periodically

To ensure the car engine is always in excellent condition, then make sure the car oil you use is always in good condition. Therefore, change your car engine oil regularly according to the standard rules of each car. Typically, each car has a rule on the time of oil change, the type of oil to the mileage of engine oil usage is generally the use between 3000km to 5000km.

Oil basically has a function to withstand friction that occurs when the car engine is working. therefore, it is important to pay attention to the condition and type of oil you use, in order to avoid excessive friction when the machine is working. Otherwise, car engines are particularly vulnerable to excessive heat, resulting in engine damage

Check Radiator Conditions

Radiators are an important part of the car that serves to neutralize the heat emerging from the car engine. If the water of the radiator, or the coolant is not working properly, then the machine will quickly buckle and cause fatal damage. It is also dangerous for the motorist itself. Therefore, always note whether the condition of your car radiator in good condition, whether water radiator or coolant in good condition and so on. If you feel the water radiator always decreases, be aware also leakage on the radiator.

Ensure Condition of Carburizing Filter

If you feel your car is often difficult to turn on, try checking on the filter filter of carburizing filters. It is possible that the carburizing filter is dirty and needs to be cleaned. How to clean it is also not difficult, just use a used toothbrush slowly to remove dirt and crust that attaches to the filter. Avoid blowing the filter with a compressor or hairdryer on the carburization filter as it is at risk of damage.

Discard Machine Crust

On the inside of the car engine, especially the long-used, often there is a crust. Therefore, try to remove the crust so it will not stick too long until it is difficult to remove. The way is quite easy, step on your gas pedal deeper so that the engine crust is falling out and out through the exhaust hole. But if you do it on the road, make sure your driving conditions are in a safe position and not dangerous. If not, you can do it in the garage only.

Fill Full Tank of Gasoline

Not a few people who apparently never fill the fuel tank to the full. This habit can actually make the top of the tank that has never been exposed to fluid to be filled with crust and dirt. Therefore, occasionally fill your fuel tank to the full so that the top of the tank remains clean. The crust on the gas tank can be dangerous as it will carry over to the combustion channel.

You can use the transmission lubricant that has been recommended by car manufacturers. The type of lubricant that you often use, heavy or light when you do the vehicle then this is one of the oil replacement time lubricants are usually in use.

4. Check Valve and Transmission Oil

Matic cars often experience damage to transmission gaskets such as transmission gasket leaks or transmission gasket damage. Therefore you as the owner of the vehicle must check in advance. Vehicles that have a manual type then very different from the vehicle matic. For a matic car could have damaged velve and leaking velve, then this can happen when the levers are loud and gas jolt.

5. Transmission Oil Transmission When Matic Exposed to Flood

If you are in a condition that is difficult to avoid such as flooding and heavy rain then you must change the transmission oil to avoid things that you do not want, because heavy rain or flood is large then the water can enter into the gearbox. Your matic car can experience a bad thing if you ignore it like a gear or transmission jam.

6. Transmission Performance

Checking the way the transmission performance can be checked by yourself as the owner of a car vehicle matic. Then you can place on the transmission lever in position D or R, then you can remove the car brake. If the car does not have a transmission system problem then your matic car will immediately move.

7. Conducting Road Testing

You as the owner of the vehicle, especially a vehicle that matic then you must be diligent - diligent for testing the road, how easy enough as you want to run your car matic, then for maintenance of car matic then try to move your car gear. You as a driver should be able to feel that the gears are moving closely.

If you hear strange sounds when you shift gears like a noisy voice and the car is slightly shaken then you should know that your car transmission is having problems. If you experience problems with your matic car like that then you immediately bring your matic car to the workshop that you have trusted. Because if there is a problem with the transmission of the car it is a fatal problem, because transmission is a vital part of your matic car.

How To Increase Engine Power Without To The Workshop

How to Increase Car Engine Power - Every car manufacturer must have designed and designed in such a way a standard engine that will be used on every new car product by considering a variety of things, one such as the durability of the machine. Although standard factory default engine has been designed in such a way that is reinforced by various tests, but not a few car owners are still less satisfied about the standard engine power brought by the manufacturer.

In addition to less performance bertenanga, other reasons car owners want to increase engine power because for his car can go on the character of various road terrain. Suppose the character of a mountain road uphill certainly requires a strong engine performance in order to smoothly travel. And no doubt, there are some cars that have original settings from the factory is less steady to drive on the character of a road uphill like a mountain road.

And not least also the reason the owner increases the engine power that is in his vehicle because he is hoby and satisfaction in driving. The question, how to increase the power of the car engine we have? Actually to increase the engine power, no need to workshop or place of machine renovation. Provided you know how, of course can be done alone and here we serve how to increase the engine power of a car that can know buddy.

How To Increase Engine Power Without To The Workshop

Carburetor settings

How to increase the power of the first car engine that can be done is setting the carburetor. Therefore, in setting the carburetor should menyetingnya correctly, do not let a mistake.

Replacing ECU Chip

In addition to setting the carburetor, another way that the owner can do to increase the engine power on the vehicle is by replacing the ECU chip from standard to the racing.

Install Turbocharger

How to improve the performance of the next engine that is by installing a turbocahreger on the engine. Turbocharger work itself is by utilizing the remaining exhaust gas generated from combustion in the engine that serves to turn the fan inside the turbocharger.

Perform a reshuffle to the exhaust

It is common knowledge that changing racing or modified exhaust can increase power in car engines. For owners who want to power the car faster, we recommend to replace the standard exhaust into a exhaust system or exhaust with a type of free flow made of large pipes that can reduce the exhaust system of combustion.

Reduce the car load

The more weight the car carries, the slower the vehicle will be. Therefore, in order to keep the car steady and powered by reducing the burden of the car. But the need to remember to reduce the burden of the car does not mean throw all the components of the car, the intention of reducing the burden of the car here is to replace some car components made of heavy materials are replaced by using a light load.

Installing Inter Cooler

Next How to increase the power of a car engine that can be done by installing the inter cooler, as for the function of this component is to cool the air into the combustion chamber.

Changing the spark plug

As we all know that the name of spark plug components is very important in the presence of vehicles both cars and motorcycles. Well for my friend who wants car engine performance more aggressive and fast, my friend can make it happen by replacing spark plugs. Advice from us, use iriduium busi. Why iridium spark plug? because iridium spark plugs can produce more complete combustion of fuel, with the combustion of fuel more fully automated power to be produced faster.

Choose a Good Lubricant

Lubricant is one that supports the good or bad performance of our car engine, therefore for my friend who wants faster car engine performance use a lubricant that has a good quality.

Adding Machine Capacity

And How to improve the last car engine power is to upgrade or increase the capacity of the machine. It is undeniable that this way is quite esktream and requires a lot of cost, for this one way is better done by a professional who is a compressor in the field of engine innards.

More or less that's a few ways to increase the power of a car engine that you can do if you want a four-wheeled vehicle that my friend has more powerful. In addition to the performance of a less powerful engine, one of the problems that are often complained by the owner of the car that is fast hot car engine. To find out the cause of the engine quickly hot car, my friend can read the discussion on previous occasions

Lamborghini Aventador SV

Brutally powerful and obscenely flamboyant, the Aventador is unburdened by reality. Crazy expensive and crazy fast, it’s capable of amazing performance without feeling like it’s going to spin out into a ditch, which is refreshing in a supercar. Available as a coupe (for now), it has a 6.5-liter 730-hp V-12, a 7-speed automated manual transmission and all-wheel drive. For the ultimate, the Superveloce has 740 hp and a claimed top speed of 217 mph. In our testing, it did 0-60 mph in 2.7 seconds.

The Italian in the driver’s seat could have fallen from the pages of a men’s fashion magazine. Perfectly tailored suit, meticulously cropped hair, runway gaze everywhere he looks. As he races through Valencia, Spain, he turns another roundabout into a shallow chicane, powers down the straight, and grabs the next gear with fingers wrapped in a leather driving glove. Avicii’s sugary club pop plinks out the soundtrack to a scene so stereotypically Italian—so perfectly Lamborghini.

The newfound dexterity stems from a rear-wheel steering system that can nudge the rear wheels up to 1.5 degrees in the opposite direction of the fronts during low-speed maneuvers. It chops the amount of steering input required from the driver, a fact that’s especially prominent in hairpin curves and in parking-lot maneuvers, where it makes the difference between rolling your wrists and crossing your arms. The rear steering also makes the car slightly more neutral, although it doesn’t eliminate the Aventador’s natural proclivity for understeer. With all-wheel drive and stickier, redesigned Pirelli P Zero rubber, the big Lambo resists power-on oversteer, but lift off the throttle at the cornering limit and the Aventador slowly rotates into a drift. It all adds up to an Aventador that is more sensitive and better attuned to the driver’s inputs. The rear end wriggles under hard braking, the steering issues more immediate commands, and the throttle wants to be tickled just so through the corners.

Toyota 4Runner

In a world built for crossovers, the 4Runner is one of the last mid-size SUVs to share DNA with a pickup truck. That’s great for drivers who need a 5000-lb tow rating or who spend weekends off-roading; for those accustomed to the smooth ride and swanky interiors of car-based crossovers, however, the 4Runner may fall short. Available with just one powertrain—a 4.0-liter V-6 with 270 hp and 278 lb-ft mated to a five-speed automatic transmission—this beast is outdated and a little sluggish

When carbon-dating a car’s age, there are a few options for taking the necessary samples. Consider this Toyota 4Runner. You might know that it’s old because the truck’s basic structure (dressed up with new styling for the 2010 model year) can be traced to its last full redesign for 2003. Or perhaps you’d notice that its order form lacks even the option to add increasingly common safety features such as automated emergency braking, lane-departure warning, or blind-spot monitoring, all of which are available—mostly as standard equipment, even—on nearly every other Toyota.

Instead, the 4Runner has a steering wheel, accelerator and brake pedals, windows to see out of, four-wheel drive, and big ground clearance for off-roading. The focus is even narrower with the TRD Off-Road trim level tested here; the biggest update on this model for 2017 is a name change from the previous Trail. Sitting just beneath the hard-core TRD Pro and above the base SR5 on the 4Runner’s performance pyramid, the Off-Road lacks the Pro’s Bilstein shocks, special springs, and TRD-branded (Toyota Racing Development) skid plates and black-painted wheels. Even so, it’s set up to get dirty with a standard electronically locking rear differential, Toyota’s Multi-Terrain Select and Crawl Control electronic traction aids, and substantial Dunlop Grand Trek tires.

Honda Civic 2018

After all, with 228kW of power from its 2.0-litre turbocharged engine what was once a sensible family hatch has been turned into something of a fire-breathing monster. Honda claims it'll hit 100km/h from standstill in just 5.7 seconds and after driving it for a day there's little reason for disbelief because it goes, and goes hard.

Just as many will be attracted to the outrageous styling because you'd better believe it, despite all the pictures and motor show appearances seen so far nothing can prepare even the temporary custodian for the Type R in the flesh.

It is simply festooned with everything that's dramatic: the deep chin spoiler is further extended by a lip that curves up at the extremities to direct air around the front wheels, the extended wheel arches are anything but subtle and the double-decker rear wing is huge. Everywhere you look there are vents, scoops, winglets and mysterious bumps to direct airflow and manage cooling and the result is a car that will never go unnoticed.

eautiful it isn't. Hysterically over-the-top it definitely is.
For those who haven't been following the lead-up – which includes a record-breaking lap for front-drive cars around the full-scale Nurburgring race track in Germany – this hot Civic is Honda's comeback from the dark days of the GFC after which its cars tended towards the meek and mundane.
The company needed something extroverted and outrageous and, while visually and on paper the Type R fits the bill, it also needs to go, stop and handle to prove it has bite as well as bark.
The good news is, after sessions on the race track, Germany's high-speed autobahns and normal urban and country roads the Type R generally comes up smelling of roses.

Starting with performance, the direct-injection turbo engine doesn't just have a mighty power output but with 400Nm of torque it also has plenty of pulling power from the middle of the rev range, at about 3000rpm.

Ferrari California

Don’t let anyone tell you the Ferrari California isn’t a real Ferrari. I haven’t actually heard anyone saying that, at least not since it revamped the California into the California T, but it looks like art and sounds like music, as any creation from that boot-shaped peninsula should. I also saved a life while the car was under my command. Maybe should I have led with that?

OK, so I might have saved a young woman’s life. I never saw her again. Here’s what happened.

I was heading home in the Ferrari after my pathetic, southeastern Michigan excuse for a drive loop when I saw Jeep taillights about a quarter-mile ahead. The lights drifted right, then hard left, then hard right before they flew down an embankment off the side of the road. I was the only one out there, so I had to stop.

With the top down, I whipped the California into an apartment complex and ran over to find the Jeep flipped on its side, and crashed into a tree. The 40-mph speed-limit sign was bent in a way that looked like the Jeep drove up it as it careened off the road. Another woman arrived on the scene and we found a young blonde girl, dazed but not bloody, trapped in the non-running Jeep. We started yelling at her to open the door, but she must have unbuckled her seatbelt and fallen to the passenger side, which was on the ground, and couldn’t reach the lock button. Plus, the 911 operator told us not to move her if she seemed conscious and stable.
The police finally arrived and got her out of the car, woozy but in one piece, and then came over to me looking for answers. I was stunned at how appreciative they were for staying around. They said most people don’t do that, which was surprising. I noted that I didn’t see any other cars on the road and that it looked like she drifted, tried to recover and failed before going off the road. Then they asked me what I was doing.

“I was about a quarter-mile behind her when it happened, and I pulled off in that apartment complex,” I said as I pointed.

“You’re in the … what is that?” asked the cop.

“It’s a Ferrari.”

“Good for you,” said the cop with a little bit of snark.

“It’s not mine, I work for Autoweek magazine.”

“Sweet gig,” he said.

And that’s where I was going with this. As mortal, middle-class human, driving a Ferrari makes me feel…anxious. Everyone is definitely going to look, so you need to be OK with that. A lot of people will ask you how much it costs. Some just say “nice car.”

And it is a damn nice car. The first California was beautiful, but a little low on power (453 hp) for a Ferrari; with this new turbo version, that wrong has been righted. The California T is thrilling to drive. It’s surprisingly quiet at idle but wails like a banshee at speed. It has big, metal paddles attached to the column for cracking off six shifts in record speed. And as the modes ramp up from normal to sport to race, they get faster and louder. I didn’t feel any turbo lag, except for maybe on initial takeoff, and this thing revs to at least 7,000 before it loses any steam. The exhaust noise comes on hard at about 3,000 rpm, though I’d rather it ramp up more uniformly, like on the 488 GTB.

Mitsubishi Xpander

The new Mitsubishi Expander seven-seat people mover has been revealed in Indonesia, ahead of its full debut at the Jakarta motor show on August 10.

Until then, Mitsubishi will continue to refer to the model as the “next-generation crossover MPV”, although media reports out of Asia indicate the new car will be branded as the Expander, at least in Indonesia.

The Expander measures 4475mm long, 1750mm wide, 1700mm tall, and has 205mm of ground clearance. The new people mover can seat seven people across three rows of seats.
As we noted when teaser images surfaced last week, the Expander is inspired by last year’s XM Concept, and looks a lot like a stretched version of the Eclipse Cross.

While the exteriors of the Eclipse Cross and Expander share a lot of similarities, the Expander’s interior has all the hallmarks of an affordable people mover designed for the developing world with simple lines, cloth trim and a pared back technology list.

Motivation is provided by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine. Drive goes to the front wheels via either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic.

Available features include LED driving lights and tail-lights, air conditioning, electric windows, faux wood and leather trim, and a touchscreen infotainment with Bluetooth phone connectivity.
The new Expander will be produced at Mitsubishi’s plant in Bekasi, Indonesia. Sales of the new people mover will likely be restricted to developing markets in Asia.

Toyota Rav4 2017

For years, the RAV4 has consistently been among the top-ranked small SUVs. The current RAV4's cabin is quieter, the ride is smoother, it has a suite of advanced safety features, and it offers a frugal hybrid version. The energetic 2.5-liter four-cylinder and smooth six-speed automatic returned 24 mpg overall in our tests of an AWD version. The hybrid version gets a terrific 31 mpg overall. Handling is responsive and very secure. Inside, the controls are clear and intuitive. Though the XLE comes with automatic climate control and a sunroof, you must step up to the Limited trim to get adjustable lumbar support and the more comfortable faux-leather seats. Access is very easy, and the rear seat is roomy. For the 2017 model year, automatic emergency braking is standard.

Lamborghini Murcielago

The Lamborghini Murciélago (Spanish for "bat") is a supercar produced by Italian automaker Lamborghini between 2001 and 2010. Successor to the Diablo and flagship of the automaker's lineup, the Murciélago was introduced as a coupé in 2001. The Murcielago was first available in North America for the 2002 model year. The automaker's first new design in eleven years, the car was also the brand's first new model under the ownership of German parent company Audi, which is owned by Volkswagen. It is styled by Peruvian-born Belgian Luc Donckerwolke, Lamborghini's head of design from 1998 to 2005.

A roadster version was introduced in 2004, followed by the updated LP 640 coupé and roadster and limited edition LP 650–4 Roadster. The final variation to wear the Murciélago nameplate was the LP 670–4 SuperVeloce, powered by the largest and final evolution of the Lamborghini V12 engine. Production of the Murciélago ended on 5 November 2010, with a total run of 4,099 cars. Its successor, the Aventador, was released at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.

The Murciélago is an all-wheel drive, mid-engined supersports car. With an angular design and an exceptionally low slung body, the highest point of the roof is just under 4 feet above the ground. One of the vehicle's most distinguishing features are its scissor doors. which lends to the extreme image. First-generation Murciélagos, produced between 2001 and 2006, were powered by a Lamborghini V12 that traces its roots back to the company's beginnings in the 1960s. The rear differential is integrated with the engine itself, with a viscous coupling center differential providing drive to the front wheels. Power is delivered through a 6-speed manual transmission. The Murciélago suspension uses an independent double-wishbone design, and bodywork features carbon fiber, steel and aluminum parts. The rear spoiler and the active air intakes integrated into the car's shoulders are electromechanically controlled, deploying automatically only at high speeds in an effort to maximize both aerodynamic and cooling efficiency.

The first generation cars were produced between 2001 and 2006, and known simply as Murciélago, sometimes Murciélago VT. Their V12 engines produced just under 580 PS (572 hp), and powered the car to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.8 seconds.[10] Subsequent versions incorporated an alphanumeric designation to the name Murciélago, which indicated their engine configuration and output. However, the original cars are never referred to as "LP 580s". A first generation Murciélago Roadster was used in the 2005 movie Batman Begins.

lamborghini suv

lamborghini suv (Lamborghini Urus)
Once the Porsche introduced its SUV back in 2003, it was only a matter of time before other famous names in automotive industry start producing vehicles for this segment. After a long period of rumors, speculations, and whispers, it seems that Lamborghini will also introduce a vehicle of this kind which bears a rather odd name, Urus. Even though the vehicle seems to be oddly named, the name is actually appropriate for the newcomer. The word “urus” represents the ancient ancestor of cow, which went extinct and disappeared in 1627. These things were rather massive, tall, and heavy and generally the largest bulls ever recorded.

2017 Lamborghini Urus will probably be the largest vehicle in its segment and that is why it boasts such a name. Now when you know why Lambo gave the newcomer this name, let’s return to the vehicle itself. Many people think that Lamborghini can’t create and build a successful SUV. Well, we are also suspicious because the company’s LM002 which arrived in 1993 with only 328 cars being produced was not a really successful SUV. Yet, when we think of it, it is Lamborghini right? They can do anything they want and let’s check if they are able to win the mighty Porsche and Bentley’s SUVs.

EXTERIOR OF 2017 LAMBORGHINI URUS

If you ask any car expert out there why the LM002 was not a successful model, you will get a bunch of answers which lead to the same thing: The LM002 was not a recognizable Lamborghini. Most of them would agree that the vehicle looked like a Humvee with Lamborghini badge on it. The upcoming 2017 Urus will be a recognizable Lamborghini, with recognizable aggressive style and hard angles. Lamborghini lovers and fans will love it, without any doubt.

It is clearly visible where the company found inspiration for the newcomer, the Aventador. The headlights are smaller than the ones we have seen on the flagship Aventador but they are still creating the “Y” shape we all love. The headlights arrive with LED technology. The front bumper arrives with air intakes which are similar to the Aventador’s cutouts. When it comes to the rear end of the 2017 Lamborghini Urus, it will be the sexiest rear end you have ever seen with recognizable Lamborghini hard angles and excellently designed taillights.

2017 LAMBORGHINI URUS INTERIOR

When you peek inside of the cabin of the new 2017 Lamborghini Urus, you will see something different from what you have seen before. Unlike other SUVs, the cabin of the Urus accommodates up to four passengers at the time. Almost entire interior component was built out of carbon fiber reinforced polymer. Thanks to this, the company managed to reduce the overall weight of the vehicle. Behind the wheel of the car, you will only find the paddle shifters. When it comes to the turn signals, wipers, and lights, they are controlled via the screen placed behind the wheel or via multifunction steering wheel.

ENGINE OF LATEST 2017 LAMBORGHINI URUS

The engine of the new Urus is what makes the vehicle recognizable Lamborghini. The 2017 Lamborghini Urus hides a 4.0-liter twin-boosted V-8 engine under its hood. If the rumors are true, the engine will be able to produce over 600 ponies. There are no details about torque, but we assume that the level of torque will be above 700 pound-feet. Power will be routed through a dual-clutch gearbox to all wheels of the car. The company will improve the all-wheel drive system with a traction control to make sure that everything is nice and grippy for the customers.

Ferrari 488 GTB

The 488 GTB name marks a return to the classic Ferrari model designation with the 488 in its moniker indicating the engine's unitary displacement, while the GTB stands for Gran Turismo Berlinetta. The new car not only delivers unparalleled performance, it also makes that extreme power exploitable and controllable to an unprecedented level even by less expert drivers.

Extreme sportiness and comfort

Designed by the Ferrari Styling Centre, the 488 GTB features very sculptural flanks which are the key to its character. Its large signature air intake scallop is a nod to the original 308 GTB and is divided into two sections by a splitter, Aerodynamics and Vehicle Dynamics

you've already shattered speed laws to tiny bits. Mash the throttle at any speed, in any gear, and summon a time warp. Yet power is nothing without control, and just to the left of that gas pedal is the brake pedal, which activates carbon-ceramic brakes that shed speed with seatbelt-straining effectiveness, provided you’ve warmed them up. There's no curve that can throw the Ferrari 488 off its pace, as it clings tenaciously to tarmac. The only thing that's more amazing than this Ferrari's dynamic capabilities is how easy and fun it is to drive. Even better, an adaptive suspension and smooth-shifting dual-clutch transmission make the 488 GTB an oddly capable commuter…though there’s nothing sadder than a Ferrari stuck in traffic.

The award-winning Suzuki Intruder M1800R launched to the top of the power cruiser market upon its introduction. Its unique style and exhilarating performance – born of championship-winning Suzuki race heritage – have made it the leader in the class. The Intruder M1800R’s performance begins with its 109-cubic inch (1783cc), Suzuki fuel-injected 54 degree V-twin engine. It’s tuned to produce massive torque all the way from idle to redline, which translates into acceleration that you just have to feel to believe. It’s the most powerful cruiser Suzuki has ever produced. To reward every one of your senses, the big V-twin also produces a throaty, aggressive exhaust note—just what you’d expect from the hottest cruiser on the road. Like Suzuki’s legendary sport bikes, the Intruder M1800R balances extraordinary performance with crisp handling, thanks to a technically advanced chassis and suspension, matched by world-class brakes. And when it comes to wrapping that performance package in cruiser styling, a picture is worth a thousand words. Check out its sleek, flowing lines and GSX-R inspired styling touches, and you’ll realize that the 2016 Intruder M1800R is in a class of its own.

CHEST-POUNDING BASS

The Intruder M1800R’s class-leading 1783cc, 8-valve DOHC, 54 degree, liquid-cooled, Suzuki fuel-injected V-twin engine is designed to produce massive tractable power and responsive torque for strong throttle response and quick acceleration for strong, versatile performance on the street or open highway.

HUGE PISTONS

Huge 112 mm (4.4 in) forged aluminium-alloy pistons with short skirts, and cut away sides riding on chrome moly steel connecting rods providing the class-leading torque and horsepower that give the M1800R such a powerful ride on the highway. These are one of the largest reciprocating gasoline engine pistons being used in any production passenger car or motorcycle, while featuring race-proven design to reduce friction and inertial mass.

MASSIVE 240MM REAR TYRE

Spiral spoke cast aluminum alloy wheels measure 130/70R18 up front and a massive 240/40R18 in the rear. The rear wheel wears a huge 240mm Dunlop radial tire- the largest ever used on a production Suzuki motorcycle, which not only gives the M1800R an aggressive style and stance, but provides unrivaled grip and handling on the road.

GSX-R INSPIRED BRAKE PACKAGE

Race-inspired radial mounted four piston front calipers and 310mm front brake rotors. The rear brake system includes a dual piston caliper and 275mm rear disc, providing the M1800R with impressive stopping power.

Toyota Tacoma

The Tacoma’s ruggedly handsome looks and available off-road gear almost redeem its tight interior and so-so fuel economy. A 2.7-liter four-cylinder making 180 lb-ft of torque is standard and pairs with a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic; a 3.5-liter V-6 (265 lb-ft) is optional and mates to a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic. When properly equipped, the V-6 can tow 6800 lb. For serious adventurers, a TRD Pro trim adds a bevy of appearance upgrades and a heavy-duty suspension.
The 2017 Toyota Tacoma ranks at the bottom of the small class of compact pickups. While it's still a solid package with a great payload capacity and off-road capability, it can't match the overall performance, interior features, or capabilities of most of its rivals.

Is the Toyota Tacoma a Good Truck?

Don't let the lower ranking fool you; the Toyota Tacoma is still a very impressive truck for its size. It's arguably the most formidable off-road vehicle in the class in its standard configuration –and especially in the several off-road-focused trim levels. It has a relatively high towing capacity and can handle heavier payloads than its rivals. The Tacoma is also refined enough for everyday use, with a comfortable cabin and many standard and optional features.

While the 2017 Toyota Tacoma is a good truck, there are a few drawbacks. The standard cab configuration only has seating for four, with a cramped back seat. The base four-cylinder engine also delivers a low amount of horsepower and unremarkable fuel economy.

Should I Buy the Toyota Tacoma?

You should only buy a compact pickup if you don't need the large towing or payload capacities that full-size pickups can provide. These aren't heavy-duty, dedicated work vehicles, so if that's your aim, the Toyota Tundra may serve you better. You'll be able to tow more than 10,000 pounds and haul over a ton of cargo in its bed.

Among trucks for everyday duty, the Tacoma is a well-balanced package. It has the best suite of standard features in the class and is fairly refined, but the Honda Ridgeline has much more passenger space and a nicer interior. The Tacoma is the most capable off-road vehicle in the class, so you should definitely consider it if that's something you want. However, the Chevy Colorado delivers better performance in some areas, like towing and fuel economy.

Starting at more than $24,000, the Tacoma is far from the cheapest offering in the class. However, once you start upgrading less expensive competitors, their prices come into line with comparable Tacomas. For a well-rounded truck that you can drive comfortably every day but still charge with tough tasks, the Tacoma is worth a look.

2017 Honda Pilot

With lots of space, a versatile interior and even a bit of off-road capability, the 2017 Honda Pilot is appealing for all sorts of reasons. Capable of towing up to 5,000 pounds and comfortably carrying eight passengers, the Pilot is utilitarian by almost all standards. Getting the kids in and out is relatively easy, and options such as a Blu-ray rear entertainment system turn road trips into a breeze. And for daily commutes, the quiet cabin and smooth ride make the Pilot extremely livable.

Despite all its virtues, the Pilot isn't perfect. Our top complaints include oversensitive safety systems such as the adaptive cruise control, the finicky (but optional) nine-speed automatic transmission, and a not-so-user-friendly infotainment interface. They're small issues, however, and they're not enough to dampen our enthusiasm for this big Honda SUV. If you're in the market for a three-row crossover, we definitely recommend checking out the 2017 Honda Pilot.

Trim levels & Features

The Pilot is a three-row crossover SUV that poses as a good alternative for a minivan. It is offered in LX, EX, EX-L, Touring and the Elite trim levels. All seat eight people, with the exception of the Elite, which has second-row captain's chairs that reduce capacity to seven.

For basic family transportation, the standard LX Pilot makes a lot of sense. It may be the base trim, but it definitely isn't bare-bones. Standard features include a 3.5-liter V6 engine (280 horsepower, 262 pound-feet of torque), a six-speed automatic transmission, 18-inch alloy wheels, air-conditioning, cruise control, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel and a 60/40-split folding third-row seat. Electronic features include a 5-inch central display screen, a seven-speaker sound system, a rearview camera, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, an auxiliary audio jack and a USB port.

If you're looking for a few more tech and safety features, then you should probably step up to the EX. It adds automatic headlights, foglights, LED running lights, heated mirrors, remote engine start, the Honda LaneWatch blind-spot camera, dynamic guidelines for the rearview camera, three-zone automatic climate control, an eight-way power-adjustable driver seat (with two-way power lumbar adjustment), the 8-inch touchscreen interface, HondaLink smartphone-enabled features, and an upgraded seven-speaker sound system with two additional higher-powered USB ports, satellite radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and Pandora internet radio control. Also included is the Intelligent Traction Management system that adds a Snow mode for the front-wheel-drive version and Snow/Sand/Mud modes with AWD.

Although much of its equipment is the same as in the EX, the EX-L gets several creature comforts that make it worth a closer look. It adds a sunroof, a power tailgate, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather upholstery, one-touch sliding second-row seats, a four-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, heated front seats and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. It also keeps the six-speed transmission, which is a big part of why we recommend this trim level.

For some added safety, the EX and EX-L trim levels both offer the Honda Sensing package. It adds adaptive cruise control, forward collision mitigation with automatic braking, a road departure intervention system, a forward collision warning system, and lane departure warning and intervention systems. The EX-L can also be equipped with a navigation system or a rear entertainment system that includes a Blu-ray player with a single overhead screen, HDMI and RCA ports, two additional USB ports for the second row, second-row sunshades and a 115-volt power outlet. Note that these EX-L options cannot be had in combination with each other.

Almost right at the top of the Pilot lineup is the Touring model, which has all of the EX-L's standard and optional equipment plus roof rails, 20-inch wheels, a nine-speed automatic transmission, automatic engine stop-start, additional noise-reducing acoustic glass for the windows, front and rear parking sensors, driver-seat memory settings, ambient interior lighting and a 10-speaker sound system. The Touring is appealing, sure, and much of the equipment is useful, but the nine-speed transmission isn't as easy to live with as the six-speed.

Swinging for the fences, the top-of-the-line Elite model adds LED headlights, automatic high-beam headlight control, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert (replaces LaneWatch), automatic windshield wipers, a panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row captain's chairs (reduces maximum seating to seven people), a heated steering wheel and HD radio.

The All-New 2018 Toyota Camry

Get ready to announce your arrival with authority. The all-new 2018 Toyota Camry has undergone a total transformation—from a proven sedan to one that pushes the limits with captivating style, seductive performance and smart tech.

Camry’s all-new exterior features a lower, wider stance, taking our beloved best-seller in a daring new direction, one that helps you take on every twisty road with complete confidence. Inside, a welcoming space listens to your needs with available Entune™ 3.0 16 Toyota Connected Services, and speaks to your sense of style with rich textures and vibrant colors. This tempting mix of style and performance also comes standard with Toyota Safety Sense™ P (TSS-P), 15 so peace of mind is built in. It’s time to give into your desires—and always arrive fashionably grea

An Exterior with Unexpected Attitude

The new Camry’s face is accentuated by a two-piece grille comprised of flowing thin and thick treatments – key elements of the Camry’s “Keen Look” design philosophy. The curvaceous 1.6-inch-lower hood sits neatly above the grille’s uppermost section which accommodates a commanding Toyota emblem. For the hybrid model, the emblem is tinged a distinct blue hue. This fashionable trifecta of grille, hood, and emblem blends flawlessly into the A-pillar, and produces a stance that is undoubtedly more aggressive than that of any predecessor.

The 2018 Camry has a sleeker profile than the current model. By lowering the hip points of the occupants (nearly 1.0-inch in the front and 1.2-inches at the rear), and therefore their seating positions, the design team was able to reduce the car’s overall vehicle height by approximately one inch  from the current model and incorporate a lower roofline, without sacrificing interior space. This invited the designers to pursue a wind-cutting shape and improve aerodynamics. Striking character lines around and along the body augment the aggressive front and rear fenders, giving the reimagined Camry a sportiness that’s never before been perceived on this model.

The lower hip point, shoulder line, roof line and hood height gives the new Camry the appearance that it has a low center of gravity, which it does.  The design team knew the TNGA platform provided them with a great opportunity to pen a very expressive sedan, and they took advantage of this by getting the lines close to the ground and forming an energetic silhouette. They incorporated a strong stance that can be seen as you walk around the car.

Like the front of the vehicle, the rear features an athletic motif that melds flowing lines and complex shapes to form a sculpted landscape. Looking closely at the C-pillar’s detail reveals a multitude of surfaces that reflect light from all angles. A distinct crease extends from the slim multicolor taillights down to the bumper, effectively “pushing” the wheels outward in appearance to create a wide posture akin to that of a premium sports sedan. The exclamation point here is provided by a newly designed Camry logo that gives the car an upscale identity.

Camry will again be available in four grades: LE, XLE, SE and XSE.  The new Camry’s “Sport” SE and XSE grades wear a noticeably different body style than the entry level LE and premium XLE grades, highlighted by a sculpted rocker panel, new 19-inch black machined-finish alloy wheels (XSE only)  a subtle rear spoiler lip, aggressive front bumper, and rear bumper with an integrated lower diffuser. The face is much more distinctive with large side intakes flanking the lower bumper’s unique “Catamaran” accents, a high and slim upper intake encompassing the

central Toyota badge, and a powerfully expressive mesh grille. A revised rear bumper with distinctive corner lines and smoke-tinted rear combination lamps highlight the changes at the rear.

The Camry design team sought to make the new Camry sport models instantly recognizable and appear different from the other models from as far as 200 yards away.

Striking and Comfortable Cabin

The completely redesigned interior is a fusion of functionality, futuristic styling, and a high degree of personal space and craftsmanship.  While the driver is situated in a sporty cockpit-type environment having gauges angled toward his or her direction, the front passenger is treated to a sense of openness and freedom that results from the innovative dashboard design. A key visual element of this driver-focused design concept is a sweeping yet elegant new character line that flows down from the instrument cluster and bisects the center console waterfall. The design of the entire front console strikes a smooth connection between the ease of use of all controls/systems and a handsome and modern sculptural look that is pleasing to the eye. All surfaces throughout the cabin—dashboard, instrument panel, center console, door trim, etc.—employ the highest grade of soft touch and premium materials. Using an approach typically used in home furnishings, the design utilizes a mix of tones and hues throughout a space rather than a strict color profile. The result is a cabin space having diverse colors and materials, and that enhances passenger comfort and visual satisfaction.

The front seats have been completely reengineered with improved ergonomics, providing maximum comfort with a newfound level of ease and engagement to match the new Camry’s elevated performance and athleticism. Rear-seat accommodations are more refined than ever with improved roominess and ergonomics. Exquisite stitching on the front- and rear-seat surfaces is but one example of the high level of craftsmanship found throughout the vehicle.

High Interaction, Minimal Distraction

The new Camry features Toyota’s latest Human Machine Interface (HMI) whose next-generation display technology offers a unique level of integrated information with minimal distraction. It relays information through three interlinked displays: available interlinked displays: a 10-inch color Head-Up Display (HUD); a seven-inch multi-information display within the instrument cluster, and an eight-inch audio/navigation display and HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) control panel that’s seamlessly integrated into the center console in a modern, flush-surface design. Convenient and highly intuitive operation is assured through customizable features and smart phone-like touch screen icons that create a seamless connection and user workflow between the HMI system and other digital media.

Full Utilization of Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA)

The 2018 Toyota Camry fully incorporates the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA). At its foundation, TNGA is a structural reform movement for the entire company that will result in cars that are more dynamic, athletic, and fun to drive.

By extending the wheelbase by two inches, as well as bringing down the roof and hood height (by approximately 1.0 and 1.6-inches, respectively), the development team lowered the center of gravity and created a wider and more composed vehicle. The new platform also allows for an ideal seating position for the driver, now lower and near the center of the car for enhanced feedback, along with adjusting the overall seating position for all the vehicle’s occupants. A lower heel point provides more foot room and ease of movement. The range of steering column adjustment has been increased from the current vehicle, while the hood, cowl, and dashboard height have all been lowered for enhanced outward visibility.

The driver and front passenger will experience an unprecedented sense of outward visibility, thanks to a more compact design for the instrument panel and a lowered beltline. The reimagined position of the A-pillar and side mirror sections results in enhanced lateral visibility and creates a noticeable sense of openness when the driver sits behind the wheel.

All Gain With No MPG Pain

Three new powertrains will be available on the new 2018 Camry: They include a new 3.5-liter V6 with D-4S Fuel Injection and an all-new 2.5-liter inline-4 gasoline engine, which comes paired to a new 8-speed Direct-Shift automatic transmission (8AT), and a next-generation Toyota Hybrid System (THS II).

To match the chassis’ increased handling and performance capability, Toyota engineers have developed the TNGA-inspired all-new 2.5-liter 4-cylinder Dynamic Force Engine to make the most of the platform’s enhanced designs, packaging and rigidity. This new generation engine focuses on higher torque, higher power and lower fuel consumption in total use range. This is accomplished by achieving rapid combustion due to higher tumble air flow. With its long-stroke and high compression ratio, multi-hole direct fuel injectors, variable cooling system and the latest version of Toyota’s Variable Valve-Timing-intelligent Electric (VVT-iE), this high-output powerplant takes the gasoline-powered internal combustion engine to a new level with world-leading thermal efficiency of 40 percent. Along with enhanced performance characteristics, the new engine is also expected to be extremely fuel efficient, and is anticipated to achieve best-in-class fuel economy. It comes mated to the newly developed Direct Shift-8AT transmission that provides direct-lock up from gears two through eight to eliminate power loss from the torque converter, executing shifts like a high-performance automated manual gearbox.

The new hybrid system has also been engineered to provide the ideal balance of energy efficiency with superior power output to maximize driving performance and enjoyment. The next-generation Toyota Hybrid System has been engineered to work in concert with the new 2.5-liter 4-cylinder Dynamic Force Engine setup offering significantly more driving excitement than before. The hybrid’s Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) features a new Sport Mode setting that allows the driver to execute smooth yet quick “gear” shifts of the simulated 6-speed sequential shift transmission. The SE grade adds paddle shifters for increased fun and a more sporting driving experience. The Sport Mode setting also improves acceleration and feel thanks to an electric power boost from the hybrid system. Furthermore, to help enhance the vehicle’s handling capability, the hybrid system’s battery pack has moved from the trunk to beneath the rear seat for a noticeably enriched handling feel, thanks to the vehicle’s much improved lower center of gravity—yet another benefit of the TNGA platform.

In addition to its enhanced handling and driving performance, the hybrid version of the new Camry is anticipated to achieve best-in-class fuel economy ratings, with Prius-like city/highway driving efficiency.

A New Experience Focused on Vastly Superior Driving Dynamics

At the foundation of the Camry’s sporty handling and enhanced ride quality is its high-strength body/platform structure. Through the increased use of ultra-high-tensile steel and the application of a new molding technology it delivers enhanced structural rigidity.

Further aiding performance is an innovative new double wishbone rear suspension system that imbues the chassis with responsive handling and precise steering control while simultaneously delivering ride quality on par with premium luxury vehicles. A new four-point engine mounting system adds to the vehicle’s civil road manners as it greatly reduces unwanted noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) from permeating into the passenger compartment.

The biggest challenge for the Camry engineering team was to figure out how to convey the driving dynamics of a soul-stirring sedan.  Driving dynamics were always at the forefront of the engineering philosophy for the new Camry.  They wanted a new Camry in which the driver will be highly impressed with the handling capability and composure of the new design.  So much so, that drivers will notice the dramatic improvements within the first few seconds of driving.
